“We have a very young group on the field and overall last night didn’t start too good but the guys didn’t quit,” Richter said. “We competed till the very end and I was proud of my team for that. We didn’t start the season out good but we started playing some great baseball, got on a roll and won six straight. I wanted to let my team know how proud I was of how we finished the season and I’m looking forward to next year.”

Richter added that he most looking forward to the guys coming back playing together and just having fun He also mentioned about the age of his players being 28 and younger for the most part, how exciting things can be next year if they manage to get off to a better start.
