Marshall Swim finishes with several wins vs. MWHF

WESTONKA- The Marshall Tigers Swim and Dive team competed in their first of two back to back meets of the week garnering many first place finishes in the events. The Tigers comprised a team score of 125.5 and will be back in action tomorrow evening traveling to face-off against Melrose Area High School.

The girls 200 Yard Freestyle which was the third event of the day was the first of the Tigers first place finishes. Hailey Larsen won that with a finals time of 2:30:02. Another Larson would win also for the Tigers in Alex Larson in the sixth event of the day, the girls 200 IM with a time of 2:31:24.

The relays is where the Tigers would achieved most of the victories on the night, winning four of the six total relays of the event. The girls 200 Yard Freestyle Relay was won by Alex Brown, Madison Gehrke, Elizabeth Coudron and Leah Hybbert. Their was a second 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Marshall won with the team of Autumn Deutz, Grace Rokeh, Mansi Bell and Emma Beavers. Beavers and Bell would also individually each win the 100 Yard Breaststroke in the meet as well. Lastly, the Tigers won both 400 Yard Freestyle Relay events, with one team of Alana Condezo, Larson, Rokeh and Deutz. The other team were Zanovia Deputie, Cami Kass, Alayna Gruhot and Briana Hernandez.
