PREP SOFTBALL: Minneota/Canby, YME doubleheader suspended after three innings

MINNEOTA — Rain rain go away, for a doubleheader that will be played another day.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Minneota/Canby softball team hosted Yellow Medicine East and was leading early 3-0 after a home run by senior Ava Larson. However, due to several lightning strikes and oncoming rain the game had to be postponed in the top of the fourth inning until today where both teams will resume play of the first game and then play the second game as well.

The first game will resume at 3 p.m. and the second game will start shortly after.
