In the words of the Hall of Fame NBA Center Moses Malone: Four, Four, Four.
Four, the number of grand slams hit in the same number of games by four different people.
History was made when Eric Hosmer, first baseman for the Padres, hit a grand slam to complete the historic feat.
Four, as stated before, the number of people who hit the grand slas in as many games. It started with Tatis Jr., who had two home runs in the same game, then Will Myers, who hit one in his first game back, then Manny Machado, which was his second of the season and a walk-off win, finally Hosmer to give San Diego a four run lead at that time and made history.
Lastly four, the number of victories the Padres have in a row, sweeping the Rangers in the home and home series.
Despite Hosmer grand slam, Texes battled back to tie the game up in the ninth at 7 all.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Jake Cronenworth would single and thanks to a Rangers throwing error, it allowed the winning run to cross the plate and give San Diego an 8-7 win.
