Lakers Bounce Back With Victory Over Jazz Behind Davis' Double Double

Anthony Davis scored just 14 points in there loss Saturday to the Raptors

He had that many points by halftime of this game.

Davis went on to score 42 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a clinching the western conference top seeding victory over the Utah Jazz 116-108

Lebron James, his teammate, Contributed 22 points, which is the same amount of points James and Davis combined to score in the Raptors loss. He would also grab 8 rebounds and dish out 9 assists.

For the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell had 29 points and Rudy Gobert had another double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Jazz have lost two straight games falling into a tie for third with the Houston Rockets, who have won two straight.

Since the Lakers have five more games left to play and the number one seed clinched, Frank Vogel, Head coach of the Lakers, may decide to sit some players and rest up for the playoffs in a couple of weeks.

Both teams play next on Wednesday, with Utah playing Memphis in a matinee at 2:30 P.M and the Lakers playing Oklahoma City Thunder at 6:30 P.M
