Both goalies were fantastic with Carey Price for Montreal saving 39 of 41 shots and Matt Murray for Pittsburgh saving 32 of 35 shots.
At 6:03 remaining in the Overtime period, Canadians defenseman Jeff Petry would net a goal giving Montreal a 1-0 series lead in the best of five.
These two teams would match up again Monday night.
