Padres Lose Their Fifth Straight Game as Arizona Sweeps the Series

Once again, the bullpen has been an issue for the Padres as they drop there fifth straight game falling under .500 for the first time this season.

San Diego had a 4-2 lead entering the eighth, but that all changed on one swing of the bat.

Eduardo Escobar hit a go ahead three run homer to give the Diamondbacks a 5-4 lead and victory over the Padres.

Eric Hosmer hit a home run for the second time in this series tying up the game at that point between the two teams.

San Diego will travel to Texas for a home and home series. First two will be played at Texas and the next two played at Petco Park in San Diego.
