Padres did exactly what they did the night before.

Came out and got six runs and had a five run lead with just 4 innings left to play.

Then, all of a sudden,it looked like deja vu.

Wednesday night saw the San Diego bullpen lose a four run lead and ultimately lose the game in walk-off fashion 7-6.

Thursday night the Padres bullpen would do the same as it was once again 6-6 heading into the bottom of the ninth.

This time though, San Diego would get out of that inning and due to the new rules of extra innings of having a second base runner to start, the Padres took advantage immediately and scored six runs to make it a 12-6 game.

San Francisco would score one run, but the Padres would go on to win its fifth game out of seven, second consecutive series win.

Padres will head to Colorado next, tied for 1st place in division.

First pitch is slated for 8:10 P.M
