first pitch of the game for Padres at bat, Fernando Tatis Jr. hits a home run, his fifth of the season to give San Diego an early 1-0 lead
The next inning first pitch at bat for the Padres, Jake Cronenworth hits a home run to give San Diego a 2-0 lead.
Honestly as well as Zach Davies, starting pitcher for the Padres, was pitching, that is all he needed.
Davies went 6 2/3 inning allowing 3 hits and no runs in victory.
Edward Olivares added a home run, his first of the season, late to secure the 3-0 victory over Arizona.
It would be the fourth victory over this team this season in five games played.
The second of this three game series will be played tomorrow night.
First pitch is at 9:10 P.M
Game is at Eastern Time.
