Tatis Triple in huge 4th inning propels Padres over Diamondbacks in series clinching win

The 1st-place Padres took 3 of 4 from the Arizona Diamondbacks winning 6-2 in the series finale.

I can certainly get use to saying that.

San Diego used a huge 4th inning scoring five of there six runs which included Tatis Jr. bases clearing triple to give insurance on a lead they would keep.

Eric Hosmer, first baseman for the Padres, was a late scratch, according to ESPN. Details were not confirmed on why he mused the game.

Definitely a little concerning as a fan because it is his second mused game of the series.

However, with efficient hitting and great pitching, the Padres were able to win the series.

San Diego held Arizona to nine total runs in the entire series while scoring 22.

The Padres now go on the road for the next two eries facing the Giants first, who plit the series with the Dodgers and then division foe as well the Colorado Rockies.

The next scheduled game for San Diego is July 28th.

First pitch is 9:45 P.M (Eastern Time)

Fun Fact Story- Hometown Buffet story

It was my brother graduation and to celebrate he wanted to go to Hometown Buffet. That was a restaurant I loved going to growing up in San Diego. So to say the least I was happy he picked that place. He had friends who he wanted to go with and also wanted me to tag along with him. There were many of these locations and I said"Lest go to the one down the street." However, he wanted to go to where it was near his friends and school where he graduated, It was his day, so I understood. We got on the bus to go eat, and we ended up getting on the wrong bus and got lost. After asking a few people of where the Hometown Buffet is, we finally found it 90 minutes later. We got there sat down and come to find out, this location had no cinnamon rolls. I was hot!!! How can you not have cinnamon rolls as a dessert? Plus my brother and his friends wanted to leave all quick, I wasn't having it. I was pissed already that we got lot, now you're trying to speed up my eating time and I was hungry!! So I ate good while they pretty much watch me eat lol. Afterwards, we had to get back on the bus to go home. My brother friends and us separated at the bus station. We were about to get on our bus to go home and then he said he had no money. We both got allowance back then and i was the type to save, he was not. I only brought enough for me to eat and get on buses. So, of course with my older brother not having money, we couldn't catch that bus home. I told him, If you walk, I'm walking with you because we are together. Miraculously, he found a transfer for the bus and we got on the very next one, which was the last one running for the night. We didn't get home until midnight, after leaving to go to restaurant at 5 P.M. That was the first and last time I ever went to that Hometown Buffet location because it was far from us on bues and most importantly, they don't carry cinnamon rolls. that's a deal-breaker for me.
